Doodle-a-Day: May 2

May 2, 2013

Now that I’m finally finding time again to shop my work out for freelance gigs, I realized it’s high time to update my portfolio, which has been largely untouched in two years. Traditionally, my portfolio has always had a very formal, reserved look, which really doesn’t mesh with the kind of work I produce. Deciding I wanted the cover to be more representative of the contents, I’ve totally overhauled the look and rebuilt it in a 60s-style toy packaging design. For all its minimalism, this it a surprisingly tricky look to pull off, but I’m satisfied with the results.
