These Are Their Stories: Law & Order interpreted by illustrators

August 1, 2010

Brandon Bird and a plethora of illustrators have put together a delightful themed project based around Law & Order. In “These Are Their Stories,” each artist created an interpretation of an episode based on a single-sentence synopsis. The gallery show in LA just wrapped up last week, but the works are posted online for everyone’s delight.

My personal favorite? Chip Zdarsky’s Busey-tastic oil painting, THE WIFE OF A ONCE-POPULAR SINGER (GARY BUSEY) IS FOUND DEAD”:

Although bonus props go to the always-wonderful Kate Beaton’s illustration, “A MISSING BOY IS FOUND”:

Some of the artists are also offering prints of their work — because us illustrators are always starving, I fully support supporting them through financial support.
